I have a six month old pullet whose eye is leaking, and the right side of her face is very swollen. I picked her up today and tere was an odor of pus, and discharge coming from her nostrils. I know she eats and drinks, and that this problem has been somewhat in evidence for weeks, but should I cull her or attempt to treat her? My son had pink eye so we have antibiotics on hand that I could use, buut could there be something wrong with her physiology. Her beak doesn't close the top is slightly curved So that the front tips meet, but not the sides,like a crescent shape. I don't have anty photos, but I could take some if any one thinks its needed.
