swollen face

so this started a few weeks ago with one of our chickens. the skin around the corners of her mouth gets swollen. doesn't seem to bother her that much, but one side did start to bleed a little today. anyone have any ideas what it could be? anything helps.

I wonder if it's subcutaneous emphysema. Does it feel like an air sac? If so, you can puncture it with a fine needle and release the air. Here is one thread
