I have a 2 year old speckled Sussex hen with an extremely swollen foot and no scab on the bottom. I don't think it's scaly leg mites either because her scales are fairly smooth. Her normally smooth feathers are super scraggly looking, her comb is pale and wattles are really thin. She limps when she walks, her foot is obviously hurting her. She has also developed a small cream-colored growth on her beak. I think her poop is normal. All of this has happened in the past 3 months I think (I didn't notice anything before that). All of my other hens are perfectly healthy as far as I can tell. They are active and eating/pooping/sleeping normally.
That could be a fractured foot or a bad sprain. Could you ask a vet to get an xray, just to know whether or not to try splinting? There is some appearance of scaly leg mites, but that may not be related. Is she getting enough to eat with her sore leg bothering her. I might place her in a dog crate, but remaining with the other chickens, and provide food and water, and some vitamins. This would force her to rest the leg. A chicken sling might also be helpful. Cooked liver in small amounts, would have B vitamins and also would be nurptritious.
