Swollen geese leg

Pls I need help, my 3 months Emden geese suddenly developed a swollen legs, can't walk but uses d wings to gain balance. I administered antibiotic which contains oxytetracycline. It was getting better but my husband massaged d legs wit hot water and it became worse. Pls what can I do to relief d pain. I don't have a vet where I live.

Probably got it stuck in the fence and pulled something. Just give it time. Do you have a swimming hole for him? Cool water will reduce swelling and floating will get weight off his bad leg.

So sorry for my late response. My goose has made a tremendous recovery. Though limping, sits in d pool for sometimes and he is doing great. Thank u for your help. We administered some calcium and vitamins. He he's doing incredibly well. Am thankful to this group.
