That's what the instructions say, but those instructions are for pet birds, not chickens, ducks, or large birds. The medication must be given orally by weight. Let me know how much your duck weighs and I will calculate a dose for you. If you're good at math, the dose is 10 mg/kg twice a day for five days.
 
I have my little female with him to keep him company. Will it hurt her if she drinks it? So sorry I am very new to this and I love my ducks and want the best for them.

Ok so not to the water? Is it by syringe in the mouth then?
 
The drug is very bitter (don't ask me how I know, lol), so if put in water they usually won't drink the water, *and* the drug can bind with the calcium in hard water, which would make it less effective.
