Swollen rear around vent and passing white discharge, some blood

My 2 year old light sussex has a really swollen rear end, i gently inserted a lubricated finger cant feel an egg from inside or outside, but she looks very uncomfortable and is waddling, not sure when she last laid, she is eating, I have her stood in a warm bath, but the swelling is bad.. help please.. not sure what to do next

Could you post a pic? Is there any poop stuck around her vent? Are there any feathers missing? Any redness of the skin?

Alas too late, she died in my arms, in the last hour she seemed to blow up like a balloon, I took her to the vets but she died on the way, i think it must have been egg yolk peritonitis, feel ashamed that i did not see the signs earlier.

I'm sorry to hear she passed away

Don't beat yourself up about it, these things happen and peritonitis can show symptoms similar to being egg bound.
