Swollen rear end

We have an orpington approx. 4 years old. She is so swollen in the back end that she is walking bowl legged. The swelling feels larger than a softball. Possibly empacted? what do I do? saw her poop today but was very small.

It sounds like she could be egg bound with your chicken I'm not sure about a chick in the earlier comment. Unfortuinatly egg bound can lead to death if not surgically removed by a vet.
