My rooster got the brunt of the frostbite this past winter, and lost the tips of his comb, and his feet were frost bitten as well.
Please note: I don’t want advice on preventing frostbite, I will make a separate post for that. Thank you.
The snow has been gone for awhile now, but his toes are still swollen, hot and it looks like he is losing his nails. The other day one toe was bleeding, and of course the others were pecking at it.
Is there anything I can do to help him and reduce the swelling? Is this from frostbite or am I missing something?
