SWOLLEN SINUSES AND EYE

Hi all, I have a Barnevelder and 5 others in serious trouble. I have 6 total hens that I seperated from the rest of my flock because they are swollen around their eyes causing some of them not be able to open their eyes. There is also discharge from the eyes. Breathing seems to be fine just sinus/eye problems This one is the worst. Any suggestions. They are already quarantined and on antibiotics. Thanks

Sorry to be the one to break it to you but it looks very like mycoplasma. Im sure thats what it is here's abit on it you can read up on. Hope it helps.

Thanks, I think you are right. I'll keep them on antibiotics for a while. wish me luck!

I do - wish you the very best of luck - I know how devastating it can be when you lose chooks - Even if one of mine are poorly - they are in the house and getting everything they possibly need (maybe im too soft ;-). )

I know it can be fatal but I hope you get it sorted, All the best to you and your chooks
