hi! I’m new to ducks and got my four around late march. I have two pekins and two buff orpingtons. Two days ago, we got our first egg. I’m not exactly sure who the egg is coming from at the moment. But today, while I was watching them roam, I noticed one of the pekins had a bit of a saggy belly compared to the other. I read about ascites and wanted to see what you all might think. The stomach is squishy to the touch and I haven’t noticed any abnormal behavior from her. She stays with her sisters and runs where they are. I wasn’t sure if sometimes their stomach could look like this from starting to lay? I also wanted to see if this could be a sign of being egg bound, but again her behavior besides this is completely normal. Thanks for the help!
