swollen wattle?

I have a bantam BLRW and one of her wattles is swollen and hot to the tough. I see no injury to the area or anything out of the ordinary. This same hen almost soley lays shelless eggs even though she has plenty of calcium and the other hens have very strong shells. Idk if this is related or not, but I would like to know what is happening.
