Swollen, wheeping eye

Swollen eye, hunched down, fluffed up, chilled, all from an injury....not good. I recommend penicillin injections. See the link in post #2.

Cyclops update!!

She's been doing wonderful! We've just been using the warm compress on her eye, and mixing in crumble with yoghurt to get her to eat starting last week. She's back to eating regular food and eating grass outside the coop.

I did notice her eye was opened today, although she is very clearly blind in it, she seems to be doing much better!

We have plans to move her back in with the others again soon, but I'm going to give her another week or so more to make sure she is better and has her strength up.
