Ok, it was an episode of Gangland (on History Channel) entitled "Basic Training" --

It basically showed how the lower admission standards have allowed the gang members in - and they are doing maybe one tour of duty then taking their newfound skills back to the streets.

I admit, the numbers may not be uber high - but they are there, and crazy folks show up in any group. Is it a majority? no - are they a precense? definately.

You mean if I want to live in fairytail land. Does anyone remember 911????? "The poor suspects in Gitmo" I still never heard a word about the the innocent people in the Twin Towers and on the planes who lost there lives one sunshiney day and all the rescue people who died trying to save them. These were upstanding/working/taxpaying people. People who contribitated to this country.HARDWORKERS Not porch people who give birth to get checks..... All I hear is what the previous adminstration did wrong. BUT, no administration has had to deal with a situtation like 911. That was a declaritation of WAR on our own soil!!!!!In our 6 years in Iraq, we barely beat the death statics for what we lost in one day. We lost a lot of productive people and yet I do not hear a word about it!!!!!!

Also this is a voluntary war(where people enlist to serve because they choose too....But, some people may be to young to remember the DRAFT..Or even what it means to be drafted...Thats the problem with society today they do not know what it is to fight for freedom.

You are agreeing with someone who absolutely did say we who believe in the TEA party movement are racists. Listen to what she said. I have found the most hate and vitriol flows from the likes of people like Jeanine Turner, they use the broadest brushes - I have no respect for her whatsoever.

That's depressing. They really dropped their standards for the Iraqi invasion. I was in from 81-85. You had to have a H/S diploma or equivalent and no criminal history. I had to get a waiver for 2 traffic tickets.

Maybe they can use gang bangers to take out the right wing extremist's. Now I'm excited.​

Yes, it is depressing. I was born in the Army base hospital, lived on base/army housing for a lot of years before my dad retired. It was harder to get in back then. They wouldn't even take you if you were too much overweight.

eta - except for that pesky draft where they took almost anyone who was breathing and walking under their own power.

"Desperate times..." and all that, I guess.

I answered this once, and the ethers of internet ate it - must be HLS is watching me post - or my kids are eating all the bandwidth again.... either way it's an evil plot, I'm sure of it.

What I said was....

According to Homeland Security we (right wing extremists) are all lumped in with the Gang Bangers (domestic terrorists, hate groups, etc...) the gang bangers wouldn't go after one of their own, would they ?

eta - of course, if Rahm Emmanuel has his way, all young people ages 18-25 will be drafted yet again to serve three years to the Govt.
and here I thought they repealed slavery...
