Here's my hot weather coop/run for our five bantams:

And here's their chicken tractor:

I used an old trampoline frame, painted it, covered it with 1/2 by 1/2 inch vinyl coated hardware cloth, and then wrapped the side with willow fencing. I put the chickens in their stationary coop/run at night (and anytime it's raining), but put them in this tractor in the daytime so I can move them around to fresh grass.

I like that. I like that a lot. Inventive on the tractor. I especially like the coup. It is pretty.

Do make sure the tactor always has shade.

Thats a cool idea with the trampoline frame! We have a trampoline but I like jumping on it too much to give it up, and I gave one to my friend for her birthday it was our cousins and he couldn't use it anymore because he's in a wheelchair now.

I lift up one end using a rope I attached to two of the frame legs, then I pull it with the other end dragging across the ground. This works because our yard is level, pretty smooth, and I don't have to drag it very far.

There are a few design flaws I'm working on, though. I can't get the chickens out fast if I need to (if it rains, for example) unless they're willing to cooperate and come to the door. I think I'm going to make a trap door in the roof so I can more easily put a nest box in there, too. Our chickens are only 10 weeks old, though, so I have some time to work on that.
