I’d set up a look don’t touch pen for your little ones so the older ducklings can be around them but not

So sorry your boy isn't doing well. :hugs Is taking him to a vet a possibility?
It is if it worsens but its 150$ for 20 minut checkup then they wanna do blood work! My other cat cost me 1400$ to find out he was only dehydrated from the stress of adoption and needed pedialyte

sounds like post nasal drip in dogs ????
Thats scary. His breathing the very odd time sounds gurgly

Thanks everyone

Ok since he’s on urinary food he’s had medical issues already with being blocked which is a major emergency for a male cat.

Honestly my suggestion since you asked is that He needs to be seen by a vet.

Cats get upper respiratory infections easily. There are lots of reasons. Sometimes it has to do be a latent virus, Or a bacteria infection or both together.

Sometimes they turn into pneumonia.

I don’t normally rush to tell people to go to a vet for every little thing but this year we lost the best cat ever from what seemed like a little case of the sniffles. The vet said as long as he was eating/drinking/peeing/pooping to give it a week or so... but of course to bring him in if anything changed.

I sure wish I could turn back time. Because the next day he napped a bit and I ran errands in the afternoon- got home around dinnertime. Fed the pets, he looked awful. Called the vet, they had just closed. Had to go to the emergency hospital, spent a fortune and my sweet kitty died two hours later.
Whether your cat is coughing because of “allergies” or “sickness” I think you need a doctors advice.

Iam sorry to hear that. Thanks for the advice

How long have you had Piper?
I agree, if he hasn’t improved at all then a vet is the best course of action. Respiratory issues can take cats down fast.
