We give ours apple coreas and peels, green bean tops, watermelon rind, bread, over ripe cucumbers, carrot tops and outside peels, grapes.

When is it okay to start giving chicks table scraps?

When they are on the dirt--and they will eat them. Most of the Time a few week old chicks do not care much for table scraps or a lot of things--but chick feed, But they will eat more of it as they grow.
