Guys, I've been holding out, due to my own embarassment. I'm going to give you a panoramic shot, I have to tell you I was laughing out loud taking these pictures. I used to be such a neat person, and I'd give DH a hard time about a junk car. I feel rotten for that.

It's gonna be OK, though. DH and I have been having a blast building a real run... It might take all summer, but it's definitely going to be an upgrade:

I'm loving this thread! Someone earlier in this thread pretty much summed it up as far as it's not about the looks of our coops and runs but about our chickens loving their home. It's not about money and how much we spend on our coops, it's all about providing a safe and happy home for our chickens. We all do the best that we can for our pets and animals and that's all that matters. Although, we would love to build or buy the Trump Towers of Chicken Coops and Runs, our chickens seem to love the Motel 6 of Coops and Runs and that's not a bad thing. We all have one goal and that's making sure our chickens are safe, healthy and happy and I think everyone in this thread and others who will join this thread to post their tacky coops and runs will share our same enthusiasm and love for chickens.


On that note...............KEEP THE TACKY COOP AND RUN PICS COMING!!!

Man, I am loving this thread!!!!! I often come here for ideas, but would so never post my coop for anyone to see. Dh and I made it and we are NOT handy. This has made me feel so much better. Most of the coops I see posted here, I would feel very comfortable moving into....but these, no thanks.

Y'all have made me laugh and made me feel loads better about my own carpentry skills.
