Tag Team Hens!

I had two sisters that did everything together...they were inseparable... even when sleeping they would sleep with their necks entwined ...
However when they came to set the eggs I was concerned for the eggs getting jostled too much and also for the safety of the chickies when hatching so I removed them and put them under my other broody...... when hatched I offered the half to the sisters (who had insisted on brooding the now empty nest all that time)... the one had no interest and the other took the chickies.

A little update, now I have all three hens sitting on the same nest at the same time!

Mine have several laying houses to choose from yet they often do the same thing tolay their eggs. All in the same house and at least 2 at a time. Its funny.
