My pigeon (Male) lost its tail when one of my friend tried to catch him, there was no blood. How much time it will take to grow tail feather back.

Can that pigeon mate and breed while not having tail feather.

Not to worry about the tail feathers, it'll take around 2 months or over to grow back
Don't need to worry about having trouble to mate, once it has its flight feather it can balance properly and the fertilization will not be affected by not having a tail.
