Tail Feather

My drake (or so I think) have his curled tail feather by now? He is 13-14 weeks. Black Cayuga.

some get their feather a little later. my welsh was about 13-14 weeks but i have heard of it taking longer

My Cayuga drake is about 28 weeks old and he JUST got his drake feather so I wouldn't worry

ok good, that makes me feel better. i was thinking that he might possibly be a she. and that would not be good.

DuckFanatic, how many Cayugas do you have? are yours a bit on the skittish side? do you have males and females? if so, were you able to tell which sex was which without the tail feather? i have three, and i'm pretty sure i have 2 females and one male.

My Cayuga drake JUST got his literally 2 days ago. He was born at the end of March so he's almost 4 months. With my other drake it took him just about 6 months to finally get his.
