Tail feathers gone

My chicken got too close to the gate/door and something (probably a cat.) took out all her tail feathers, was a bit bloody. I put antibiotic ointment on her & she's moving around a little bit better today. Just hoping she'll be okay & looking for some encouragement, I guess. I put a pallet in front of the gate now, so whatever it was has to reach through that to get her, now.

Hi! Can you clean the wound with warm soapy water and then cover it with antibiotic ointment? Also, she may need to be seperated from the flock until it's no longer red so the others don't peck at it.
