Tail feathers lookin a bit suspish…

That's Hen behavior.

My Roos don't squat, they try to jump on my arm or back then proceed to "do the twist" 😆
Lol “the twist”! 😂
It’s funny cause she’ll squat and be really still but as soon as I start to lift her she acts like I’m torturing her, I’m talkin flailing, flapping, the works. I have to put her back down until she calms down and then pick her up making sure I have her wings AND legs secure before lift off. 🙄 I’ve also read that Orloffs, while sweet and gentle, a lot of times do not like being carried. Once she’s calm though she loves the neck and head scratchies lol

I've had one cockerel squat. He did it his whole life. He was a Silkie. So he was probably just "special".
I have two Silkie babies and they are definitely “special” 😂😂😂 they're so adorably goofy sometimes! They’re only 7 weeks old and I got them straight run but I’m dying to know what they are too! I’m just not a patient person lol
I’m seriously considering getting them dna tested because it’s gonna take foreeeeever 😩😄

Wow, cute bird!
I lean towards Hen.
Almost looks like Roo saddle feathers are growing but they're more rounded at tips as a Hen, instead of pointed tips like a Roo. The face looks like a Hen, no red cone or wattles.

Breed...so it's an Orloff? OK I found pics of Orloffs, wow, so cute!

At 1st I thought perhaps some Speckled Sussex with the feather colors, Wyandotte & Ameracauna? The shape of face & neck feathers reminds me of my Ameracaunas, but the cone reminds me of my Wyandotte hens.

Whatever he or she is, I love the feathers, very attractive bird. Looks like a sweet personality, too. 😍

Here's 2 pics of my Ameracaunas, a Roo & hens & some Wyandotte hens to compare. I'm no expert, I am just comparing to my chickens, I can be way off wrong & there can be so many breed mixtures, we may never know.

I don't have Speckled Sussex...yet anyway Lol, here's a pic I found.

I found 2 pics of Orloffs, a Hen & Roo.
Yours resembles the Hen more.
Thank you! I had a heck of a time trying to figure out what breed she was when I found her (or when she found me rather lol). I actually looked at the breeds you mentioned but what was throwing me off was bright yellow legs! I couldn’t find anything that looked like a baby hawk with yellow legs lol. I found this group and someone here thankfully suggested she may be an Orloff and when I looked at pics I was like “Yes! That’s my baby!” 😄
This is what she looked like when I found her in my yard. Those were an interesting few days to say the least 😂

She's adorable!
Thank you so much! I think so too!
Now I haven’t had a dna test done on her to be sure but a few breeders on a Facebook Orloff page said she was. One woman actually said, and I quote, “Yes she’s an Orloff. Hatchery quality, but an Orloff none the less”. 😶
I was like, well ok then Ms. Snooty Booty, I love my little riffraff, scruffy baby anyhow. Lmao 😂😂😂

Oh and your blue Wyandotte is absolutely gorgeous!

oh and your blue Wyandotte is absolutely gorgeous! I want all the blues and lavenders lol
I have a blue LF Cochin for now but something tells me that Chicken Math and my love for all things grey will result in a buttload of new chooks 🤦🏻‍♀️😄
**edited to add that I didn’t mean to post that twice. It cut me off the first time and I thought it disappeared lol

I was told I bought Ameracaunas, but many have said they're Easter Eggers, they do not meet the Standard. Well, I love them, they have sweet personalities & lay gorgeous Blue Eggs. I'm not going to get into showing them, I just enjoy having them in my life, so having a pure bird that meets Standard Breed requirements is not essential to me.

I feel the same way about my babies! Since taking Winnie in I’ve gotten two more chooks her age to hang out with and then I just couldn’t help myself and got two one week old Silkies (they’re 7 weeks old now). I picked my birds for personality and looks and didn’t care about the fancy stuff. So I now have a wild lookin little flock comprised of a Russian Orloff, a Mille Fleur d’Uccle, a Cochin and two Silkies 😄

I have 1 Roo that although he doesn't squat, he does often go into the hen's nest egg boxes & makes sweet sounds...it is so cute!
