Tail Feathers Pointing Down and Seems Lacking Energy

We found a very tame hen on a popular running trail not near any homes. We took the hen in and gave her a home. About 2-3 months have passed and she has adapted very well. She co-mingles with the dogs and comes running to greet us when we're home. She has not produced any eggs. She looks to be a Rhode Island Red or a Production Red. Our concern is the past 2 days her energy seems to have significantly declined. She is still eating/ drinking. Her tail feathers are also pointing down, and it is almost as though she has a hump on her lower back. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Could possibly be worms, mites or lice. Pick her up and check her over thouroughly. Look closely around the vent, under the wings and around the neck.
