So I have some materials on hand leftover from another building project. I have 9, 16 foot I beams (floor joists) that are 16 inches wide. I have some framing lumber and am willing to buy sheet goods. I just hate to let this expensive stuff go to waste. So this is the tail wagging the dog... How to use this in a build. I am looking for suggestions:)

Thanks

Anyone have any ideas? @aart ?
Hmmmm....not sure, I'd store them out of the weather tho.
How the heck did you end up with so many 'extra' beams?
What was the project?
Weren't you going to build a new coop?
Hell, maybe you could sell them!

Sorry I went AWOL on this thread! Life gets in the way. @aart the original project is a apartment over the garage. The contractor I just fired over bought it.

So as it turns out, I have been given a 8x10 A Frame that was intended as a tiny house and not finished, I am making a spot for it now and its getting put in place next week. I can stand in it, and I am coming up with a plan to make a coop and run combo out of it. I will start a build thread on that.
