Olive eggerCan you guess this breed? (I’ve seen people talk about it)
Are you sure he's a brabanter? I've never seen one with a crest like that or one in that color.Sure what about this one?
He doesn't really look like an EE. Are his legs yellow? Does he have feathers on his legs?Do you know what this one is?
No he did not have feathered legs and yes I’m sure he’s a brabanter, he was still young under a year that’s why he looks different from what they look likeOlive egger

I'm aware of different varieties within breeds. I'm sorry for your loss. If he was a brabanter, he was either a mixed color or hatchery quality. His coloring was almost devoid of spangling. Also there are two colors of brabanters, and just a reminder he was under a year when the picture was took about only 8 or 9 months. Even if he was full grown he wouldn’t look exactly like the pictures you see online. Those photos are edited and messed with before posted also all the roosters and chickens on there are full grown unlike mine. He did die just a few months ago, and I’m still upset about it he was my favorite. Not all chickens look the same! Here are two of the same breeds but different colors,
Polish mix?Sure what about this one?
I got him from a hatchery, I really do not believe he was mixed at all, I'm not to sure on why his colors are a bit different but I do believe it was the lighting (possibly) because it was kind of dark in that room at the time. But he was under a year old and he did not crow nor did he have spurs. I'm not trying to be against what your saying, I'm just saying he was still pretty young he may have been hatchery quality but I'm not sureI'm aware of different varieties within breeds. If he came from a hatchery he was hatchery quality. A chicken's quality is not actually that important unless you're breeding for show, though.I got him from a hatchery, I really do not believe he was mixed at all, I'm not to sure on why his colors are a bit different but I do believe it was the lighting (possibly) because it was kind of dark in that room at the time.
