Take a stab at these three--what are they??

Silver and gold sebrights are the most common. The other colors are around but it is very hard to find good quality as they are still being developed. Even the silvers and gold have been ruined by uninterested breeders. I have seen so many auctions on e-bay and eggbid that show just horrible versions of the breeds. It amazes me that people will proudly display a picture of a rooster with hackles, saddles and even a huge sickle tail and then call them sebrights.

In my opinion, if you are selling a breed then you should at least know if your birds are anywhere close to the standard. If not, sell them as barnyard mixes.

Right on, Richard! I agree wholeheartedly. I LOVE gold sebrights, they are so adorable and gorgeous. And the few I've had were really nice birds.

Tiki, I actually was thinking about that today, but I have a little OEGB pullet in with this bunch, and #1's too big to be one. And tail/wing set is wrong. It's mindboggling!

I really can't help with breeds other than to say #1 is probably not an Austrolorp. I don't recall mine looking like that.
Also, I only think the last one is the roo.

Luckily, I live near one of the best sebright breeders in the country so was able to get really nice stock. Now, if only they would give me fertile eggs! Actually, I just seperated the pair as the little guy was too interested in trying to impress the wyandottes and marans that he never paid any attention to his little hen. It was pretty funny as those big hens could literally step on his head but he was still doin his little dance for them! I would really like to find some nice buff sebrights. I have seen a few auctions on e-bay but the lacing and type is very poor. Also, one breeder has birds with a full cape of hackles on his cocks! I don't mind working to improve a line but don't have magical powers. I saw one photo of a specatular buff cock but do not know where the birds was from or who the breeder was.

The third is surely a sebright-they have legs that color. My silver sebrights looked similar, but obviously a different color. They were hens though, and I think your's might be a roo.
