I’ve had this hen since last year, she is around 1-1.5yo. I got her about a month before she started laying. Purchased at a flea market road side. Lol The guy mentioned Cornish but to be truthful there was a bit of language barrier there so I’m not sure what he meant. I just thought she was cute and looked so unhappy in that little crate.
She has grown into a VERY heavy bird. She is a stout gal! Takes some muscles to carry her
Lays light brown, speckled, large sometimes XL eggs if you ask me. Often lays double yoked ones. It’s a lot of fun. She’s now laying an egg a day. Isn’t often she misses one. She’s vocal, loves to chat back at you. Quite bossy in the flock dynamics. I’m curious what you think she is? I shared a picture of our Bella on an evening romp around the garden.
