taking chickens' pictures

I have been trying to take pictures of my flock-and they are camera shy.I have great pictures of fluffly silkie butts and wonderful blurry chickens in motion.I have a digital camera.I don't know much about itas far as the specs go other than its silver

its a vivatar 3785. So how do you camera artistes get your chickens to cooperate?

The delete button is your best friend. I take about 10 blurred pictures of butts walking out of camera range for every one that's decent enough to save.

I whistle at mine or try to cluck like a chicken and the chicks stare at me like I'm an idiot. Then I start snapping pics as fast as I can before they wander off to do something more interesting.

also if you have a sport / action mode that is a good place to be set if chickens are going to move around,,,lol

Sunflower seeds. That's how I trained my chooks to be camera friendly.
