Yay, done! Here is my demo! This one has 29 extra large egg pockets. If someone ordered one, I would make it have 31 egg pockets. Not sure on price yet... Here is a pic! This is a adult small (because of the tie length) modeled on 12 year old. I can customize. Please pm me if interested. Also this is old yarn, can pick up new yarn in any material/color. That yellow is actually even a nice looking color for this piece.

Check prices on etsy to maybe help come up with a value. My friend who does that stuff figured out that with materials and such even though her stuff sells for good prices... she is only making about 18 cents per hour. But she is just doing something to stay busy which she enjoys so it isn't about the $ per hour for her. She hated the sewing part of this project, so may never do it again. But she thought of me a totally surprised me with it! Some of my lay boxes are low, and the apron drapes nicely around the front of my knees when I stoop down... not crushing a single egg that had already been collected.

I can just imagine some of the cute designs you can come up with for your pre made ones... like rainbow colored pockets on a flat background. Or a rainbow (mixed color thread) base with matching (different meaning all the included) solid colored pockets. And maybe some children sized ones (less pockets to accommodate size should still be good) for those little buggers in their homes that love the "chore" of collecting the eggs. Boy colored, girl colored and maybe neutral. I might keep the pockets extra large still, but large might be good enough since I can nicely fit my hand in the pockets with the eggs and it should be children sized hand even if the eggs are still quite big... I'm sure you will figure it out, though!

Ok, some extra info. I can totally do child size aprons! They will be able to fit 8 eggs. Also, if someone orders one, and is not happy with the finished product, you can ship it back and I can refund you. Again, I can make any size and any color.

One more thing. I said it holds 31 eggs.... I'm sorry, I wrote it wrong it can hold 21 eggs!

Hmmmm! I have 3 pullets about to hit laying age. I have 2 more arriving in 2 weeks but only 7 weeks old. I am planning on 3 more this summer. 8 total if I can stop the chicken math thing! So... Maybe one for an adult holding a dozen? If not I could still go for the full amount of pockets.
