I'm sorry too. Dogs are so much a part of my life, they never live long enough, but at least we have the options of putting them to rest gently and kindly. I'm glad she got to be at home with you, I hope you have years of fond and happy memories.
I'm so sorry. I know Teddie was happier with your family being there in the end. It is difficult to have to make that final trip to the vet and I have prayed many times to have the end come as Teddie's did. Just remember that she's not suffering any more and you will see her again on the other side of "The Rainbow Bridge". My thoughts are with you and your family.
I am so sorry, I know how rough it is. I had to put my two old guys down 7 weeks apart a couple of years ago. I still have a hard time talking about them as they were the dogs that grew up with my daughter. It is never easy no matter what or how. I am glad she went peacefully at home.
