My condolensces. It's one of hte most painful things in life to go through, saying goodbye to your dog or cat. Just remember that the ending we give them is far more humane than what nature would have offered them.

Sorry for your loss. the best cure after loosing a pet is to spend time with your other pets. that is my oppinion.

When my animals get to that stage, i always get the vet to come to my house for an extra $25 or so.
He puts them to sleep in my arms in their fave spot in the house.
Its a lovely peaceful way to go, and the vet takes my c/c details beforehand so he can just walk out and leave me there with my pet not having to do the business side at such a hard time.
I was going to suggest this to you but saw that she saved you from any further traumas, dear little girl.
