should be sending my MO next month and this will be my first time with duck eggs and i'm nervous about it lol and they take a bit longer than chicken eggs to hatch as well i just hope that while they are incubating that we dont get a storm down here that knocks the power out...anyone have any advice on incubating duck eggs??

Do you still have eggs available? I have NO room for anymore ducks, as I have almost two dozen duck eggs in the incubator plus my other five ducks but your ducks are GORGEOUS!! I might try and get some from you in the future. You are not planning on selling your breeding stock or anything are you??

I do sell of some of my breeding stock when get gets coler to fall. I only hatch about 30 ducklings and choose about 8 to keep as my show stock breeders. I also replace most of last years birds.

How long do you think your crew will be laying? I don't have a 'bator or a spot for them... yet. But I'd like to get some but it'll probably be a few months. I'm not sure what the 'season' is for your ducks to lay and would hate to miss them this year but....

Not sure how much longer they will lay.
They have been laying since Oct They usally take a month or two off around June - Sept
