Every evening about dark I go out to close up pens and put up a dozen or so game pullets that do not want to roost in the bigger pens. On the way out I walk past a bunch of pens where the birds within can be seen perched. Most are sleeping unless I make too much noise while walking by. It got me thinking; why not play a game where people go out and take pictures of their birds sleeping on the roost. I got beat the first time because the ground is too crunchy with a covering of ice over saturated soil.
Lets see he can sneak up on their birds and get good pictures of chickens sleeping on the roost.
As a starter I pulled two of my first night pictures that was not actually underwater. Big deal for me. These two used to roost on the front porch and were not disturbed by my comings and goings.
First in night shot mode.
Color shot of same birds.
