Well, let's see, this will be a long list:
I have 20 chickens: I have 1 sq mottled bantam cochin named Tux, 2 grey sizzles named Pixie and Hope, 1 splash straight sizzle named Sunny, 1 black straight sizzle named Kricket, 1 blue straight sizzle named Miracle, 1 black sizzle named Jazz, 1 black mottled sizzle named Izzy, 1 black australorp named Bailey, 1 barred rock named Fancy, 4 red sex links named Goldy Locks, Sweet Pea, Easter, and Leroy, 1 production red named Tango, 2 easter eggers named June and May, 1 black silkie named Sissy, 1 dark partridge silkie named Cinnamon, 1 buff silkie named Sugar
3 Dogs: 2 black and tan weiner dogs named Rambo and Lady, and 1 white chihuahua named Maya
I also have 1 un-named hermit crab

I'm working on a sizzle project with my chickens. I'm crossing a black sizzle roo named Jazz over 3 silkie hens in 1 pen. In another pen I'm crossing a blue straight sizzle roo named Miracle over a grey sizzle hen named Pixie. I'm also going to have a frizzle pen in case someone wants frizzles with a sq black mottled bantam cochin rooster named Tux over 2 sizzle hens named Hope and Izzy. These breedings will result in good quality birds.

yea but genetics gets confusing and im trying to work on that one lol

Yep, genetics are super confusing. It's even more confusing when you add in housing, who's related, rooster to hen ratio, the SOP, what you will do with the culls, ect

I'm still trying to figure out if i want to keep the black skin from the silkies i use or if i want to get rid of that gene as much as possible. for the most part i know what and that's a silkied d'uccle. i will be getting rid of the crest, the 5 toes, and the silkie comb (i need straight combed birds for a d'uccle) but I'm thinking about keeping the black skin to try and keep them a bit unique

I want a silkie or something SO BADLY. I can't breed chickens, but I wish I could... I have a White Rock who has some black on her, but not sure if she's considered a splash or not or even if she's anything special I would love to have a 'Splash Rock' XD
