I know someone else has said it here but I want to throw my 2 cents at you. Find a good friend, go from there.

My DW is my best friend. We agravate the crap out of each other

but we can do without one another either. We are a lot a like and a lot different which helps. Run with the saying "Fools Rush In". There is a lot of wisdom there.
