Tamales...I finally did it!

It was a lot of work but once I ate one it was totally worth it!

I can't see pictures, but by the name of the title, I will assume you made your first batch of Tamales! Congratulations if that is the case! They are a long process that takes quite a bit of practice to get down. My Grandparents make them, and they sell like hotcakes!
 
That was my first time making them above. I am going to use chicken and make them again tomorrow. They were easy to make for my first time they turned out right. They were really good too!

Cant wait for them to be done this time :)
 
I made the tamales again. Not impressed with the chicken ones but I am not a big fan of chicken anyway. I think maybe more salt would help. I did make some with cheese and green chillies, my favorite this time. I also had some left over taco meat and had husks still so I made a few with the taco meat and cheese, they are good too.
