I guess it takes time for toddlers to learn respect for living creatures. She's getting there. She pretends her "roostker" (which I've named Pablo) is a baby and she carries him on his back in the crook of her arm. She rocks him and sings to him and pretends to nurse him! She's tried to do it to the other chicks, but none of them seem to get calm when she lays them backwards. I think it had something to do with me syringe feeding him with his body stretched out in my palm...? He associates that position with warmth and a full belly now, even though I only had to do that for a few days and that was a month ago!
