taming goslings

Is it possible to tame parent raised goslings? Is it ok for them to be away from the parents at 4 weeks old? They wont need heat, will they?

I found an ad on craigslist for a possible pair of sebastipol goslings.. Just wanting to know how hard it will be to make them reasonably tame..

It will take treats and patience, but you will win them over eventually.

They shouldn't need a heat lamp unless you get a late frost.
You should plan on having a warm dry place for them to be kept at night.
We have a protected corner next to our shed that I fill with hay and block them in at night with a piece of plywood.
Inside is their bowl of flockraiser and a shallow water container that they can't soak themselves in.

You need to be more aware of predators as hawks and owls are still a danger at this size.

My experience says a parent-raised gosling will always be a little bit scared of you but they will warm up to you more than an adult.
