Chickenmania, I had wondered about a stroke, choking, broken neck, but will probably never know. This leaves us a dozen Golden Comets. They usually are very hardy, chatty, comical and just very terrific, friendly birds.

Whatever she died from has fortunately not gone thru the coop. Everyone seems ok today...which is good as we have eight chickens in the infirmary still. I was worried it was contagious.
