Tangled up leg.

It has been cold here the last couple of nights so last night I took an old bed sheet and draped it over one end of the pen where we keep the girls. The intent was to cut down on any air flow and keep the heat from a 100W lamp where it is needed. This morning when I went to check on the I noticed a long thread had dangled into the pen and had gotten wrapped around Miss Molly Mouths leg. She was quite unhappy about me picking her up to get it untangled but relaxed and let me get it unwound. Her leg didn't look puffy so I don't think that circulation was cut off but I think that her foot had fallen asleep as she had difficulty running afterward. I feel absolutely terrible bout it.

So a word of advice. Watch out for long threads and things that can get tangled up in their legs.

I hope that she'll be ok.

if the leg still felt warm it would mean the circulation was still good and im sure she will be fine

its a good thing to watch for though loes strings ect

Just an update. I went home at lunch to see how Molly was doing. Her leg seems to be a bit sore but she has full use of it. She was able to grasp on to my finger and hold tight when I picked her up and her spirits seemed to be good. Well at least she threw a fit at being picked up. So I think that all is well.
