I HATE it when they do that, or when they sleep that way. I'm sure my babies don't get much sleep their first few days cause I'm always poking them when they do that to make sure they're alive

So glad you posted this I have a Button in the brooder doing the same thing I thought it was in some sort of distress

I have seen normal chicks lye in all sorts of funny positions but never Butttons I was panicking I was going to have to cull the poor thing. So relieved now
