Tape worms, I Believe?

It's understandable to question the dosage amounts of Praziquantel between mammals and birds. Birds are a different ball game. Chickens have a much higher metabolism rate than horses. A chicken can poop in about 2 hours after eating, a horse in about a day or two.
Praziquantel doesnt stay in their system very long at all.
Here's more info about Praziquantel:

Ok, thank you for clarifying that!
Ok, would it be as effective if I do the treatment at the half dose... which is the 10 vs the 20? So, .30 ml vs .60 ml to a 5 lb chicken?

Why would you do half the dose? I would give the dosage as directed. I think 0.47 ml would be right for a 4 pound bird.
Ok. I was thinking because I read somewhere in all the posts here that it was 10-20 times the dose. So I was under the impression that 20 times was the highest amount and that 10 times was the lower dose yet still effective.

Also, technically I have just under the amount I need to treat all 18 birds, so I was thinking a lesser dose would better cover the amount of birds that need it.

The point is not just getting some medicine into all of your birds. The goal is to get enough wormer into each bird to kill the worms inside each chicken. Giving half a dose practically guarantees that the worms will not die but only become a little sick and recover, making them resistant to the wormer in the future, and making their offspring virtually impossible to kill. Please dose as advised.

Ok, I definitely understand that. It's just when I read that they can be dosed at 10-20 times the dose, I figured it's a range (that works at either end of the spectrum).

Ok, just finished treating!
Unfortunately, I couldn't treat 5 birds because I ran out, but I treated everyone who I suspected, and as many as I had wormer for ✅
Thank you again for everyone's help! You are all a blessing! ❤

Is it ok that I treated them at night and they can't get any water to wash it down?

Birds dont need water to wash it down. Just like after they eat, they dont run over to the waterer and get a drink.
Please, dont read into everything and dissect it. Chickens arnt complicated and are very simple creatures. They simply eat, drink, poop and lay an egg when they can. That's it.
I'm glad you dosed them at night, it's much easier. :)
