I had a gal with the tapeworm seds so I treated her with the Equimax horse paste...once then again in 10 days, it rid of them.
About a month later (yesterday) found another gal with the tapeworm seds treated her with same "Equimax" (and will again in 10 days)
Today, found the gal I treated yesterday also has roundworms so I treated with Pancur (w/4 more days to go on the Pancur treatment).
Also today...found 3 more with tapeworm seds so I've ordered more of the "Equimax" which will be here tomorrow so I can treat them and then again in 10 days.
2 questions-
1-My gal with both worms (tape and round) and treating with 2 different meds (equamax one time and repeat in 10 days & Pancur for 5 days)...is this going to be too hard on her or too much for her body to handle? Anything I can provide her to help her through it with less stress on her body?
2-Now having found I believe that's a total of 4 members of my flock (which is half my flock) with the tape sediments, should I go ahead and treat the entire flock at this point with the Equimax for the tapeworm treatment of one time and repeat in 10 days?
3-Guess there's a third question
... These are still the recommended products to be using for the specific stated above correct?
Equimax (.033ml per lb)
Pancur (I've been told 0.23ml per pound but have since seen a correction In one of the posts of 0.5 ml per pound...would somebody mind confirming proper dosages please???)
As always thank you
all for your time and consideration in advance!
