OK, I just discovered a tapeworm problem in one of my outside cats. My dog is being treated for it monthly as the vet found some in august along w his heartworm treatment.

Looking back on it, I bet that was a tapeworm in my roosters poo when I found him dying on my coop floor. Also probably why my birds I can't catch and dose (guineas and older peas) are not looking well.

Question for anyone who might know, is there any way to dose in their water for tapeworm. I read praziquantel. I can't use oregano on my cats as it makes them throw up, and some of my older birds are almost uncatchable. So I need a way to dose everyone!

Aww crap!

Take a tube of dewormer paste and spread it on a slice of bread like butter. Figure out the appropriate dose and size. Tear a piece off and toss it to the birds. Works like a charm on my semi wild guineas.

Thanks, looks like dif products for each critter for same darn problem! Was hoping to make this easy.

Appreciate the help, geez already spent a mint for sentinal plus for the dog. Not that he is
Not worth it, love all my critters but geez.

You can buy one product for peafowl, chickens, cats and dogs, but it would require doing a little math and dosing each animal by weight. The product I would use is called Mediworm, it has the same ingredients as Drontal.
