Tapeworms and safeguard

I found tapeworms in my chickens stool.

I dewormed them with safeguard equine paste orally.

Will this stop the worms ?!

I am seeing mixed feedback on here

No, Safeguard will not treat tapeworms.

Praziquantel or Valbazen​

Should be used to treat tapeworms. Most feed stores carry both....also you can get them on-line.

Okay thank you and for praziquantel I give it to them orally once and then 30 days later. Do you know egg withdrawal ?
