Tapeworms coming back after a week each time

Thank you so much ! I’m terrible at maths as you probably guessed ahah. I’ve got 1 Isa Brown, 2 australorp, 3 silkie hens, 1 silkie rooster and 1 bantam so lots of different weight.
Should I give them another dose tomorrow or wait a bit longer?
I would dose all of them tomorrow. If you want, give me a list of the appropriate weights and I will let you know how much to give.

Here is what @dawg53 suggests:
Do this when using Equimax: Withhold feeding your chickens for 24 hours prior to treating them with the Equimax. Do not let them free range, keep them penned up for a full 24 hours without feeding them. Dont worry, they arnt going to die of starvation. Make sure they have water to drink.

After 24 hours are up, early in the morning preferably, dose them with the Equimax one at a time.
Your birds will be very hungry, so will the tapeworms. You'll be feeding the tapeworms the wormer and it will kill them dead. It never fails.

Then wait 4 hours before feeding your chickens their feed. When you feed them, feed them a small ration at a time over the course of the afternoon, increasing the ration as you go until back to normal feeding later in the afternoon/early evening.

If you dont do this they will gorge their feed, possibly causing impacted crop or gizzard.
Keep in mind that you still have to try to control insects in your environment, Good luck

thank you!! I just gave them the doses so now wait and see... Should i re-worm in 10 days?!
Also should I look for dead worms in their poo?
Yes make sure you redose them again in 7 to 10 days. Do not skip that second to dose or you will have to start over.

Hi guys.
Update on that tapeworms issue. I gave the second dose on Sunday 10 of feb. so a week yesterday, and as always when I pick up the poo from the backyard every night I’m pretty sure I noticed segments on 2 of the poops. Probably only one or two segments and looked dead but I’ll have a better look tonight. Timing would be right though as they always come back about a week after treatment ...

Did you give them the correct dose and redose after one week?
