Target Training Quails [Video]

Can you train quail? As it turns out - yes, yes you can.

Tonight I got my roo's to try out target training for the first time, and it turn's out they figured it out! Rocky didn't seem to get it as quickly as the others, but he got there eventually. In comparison Cookie was a little genius and figured it out after the first try.

I did try with the hens but they had no interest in it, I find my roo's are much more attention seeking than the hens so they had more motivation to try. Only did it for fun, hopefully it can make people appreciate them a little more.

Thank you! Yes I'm told this a lot, I wonder if I just got a lucky batch regarding my quail being sweethearts or if it's a matter of development. Either or, I'm glad they're receptive enough to humour me with little things like target training haha
