Tasks Completed Today - Updating Hourly

I just wish I had 1/4 of the energy Miss P has! It's raining and cold outside and I still have gifts to drop off. No way I could do everything Miss P is doing! I'd be dead before Christmas.

Things I did today...

1. Laundry

(I hate doing laundry... it's tedious).

2. Worked on my novel for about an hour

3. Went to the store to buy things for Christmas dinner

4. Shoveled and salted the driveway

5. Baked a cake in anticipation of making cake balls

6. Checked BYC

7. Next on the agenda: Make marinated tilapia for dinner tonight

Later tonight, we are going to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Whee!

I just gave my first chicken a bath...never did it before...but she needed it. After an over zelous roo left her looking worse for wear...her side wound is healing up nicely and in the mean time...she's quite pampered. The girls love having a Delaware chicken in the house.

....of course, by the time daddy gets home she'll be back in with her mates. (she'll be in the coop most definatley by Jan. 12)


I have moved her from the shower to a cage in the bathroom...after I lugged it in and thawed it out from the cold.


and before that....i pretty much did the minimum....but hey...I'm dressed now.

I'm battling morning sickness, but you're making me feel like a lazy-butt.

All I've done today is:

1) feed my boys meals
2)Make mini apple-pies for my Christmas baskets

It's only noon here, so I may have hope for the day yet...

It is amazing what a woman can do when she puts her mind to it..and I thought I was up early at 5.00am!

Fixed breakfast for my husband
took care of chickens
Cheked on incubator and hatcher
3 loads laundry
made fudge,peanut brittle,2 pies,3 doz cookies
called insurance company about not paying medical bills
called hospital about medical bills

Now Im sitting here wondering how I can get through Christmas without any of my 4 children as my x took them to Las Vegas. I have never been without my children for christmas. I don't want to answer phone as IM afraid I will cry and upset them. I need to still pull off a nice christmas for my new husband and step daughter and her new husband. I don't even want to have christmas so it will be hard trying to act like IM fine.
I know IM a big baby and should just buck up !! Right !
