I was wondering if you can effect the taste of your chickens by feeding them apples or some sort of spice for a couple weeks before butchering them?

Of course the meet can change taste on what they eat. not exactly sure on what to feed them but you can tell difference between grass raised and feed raised.

I think your on to something... Apple Chicken Cider??

It will affect the meat but your not going to get that "appley tast" you may think your going to get....

It goes the same with fish... I feed fish meal to the broilers as well as the layers for protein and not one hint of a fishy taste.... just a good source of protein... in your case it would be a good source of vitamens and carbs....
