Can you feed the chickens cooked tatortots? My mom got alot of them left over from the school she works at.

I do as an occasional treat, they love them. I don't know how big your flock is but I wouldn't feed them a bunch. Just freeze the leftovers and throw some out every now again, as long as their cooked. They'll love them.

Yes, I would think they might be pretty salty. If memory serves correctly, I've also read that potatoes have little nutritional value for chickens, but an occasional treat should be fine.
 
Tots are very high in fat.

Think of treats for chickens the same way you would for humans who watch their weights: occasional treats are OK but high-fat, high-sugar all the time will make the chickens fat, which affects their laying.
